After a wait of over two years since the Express Entry stream opened, Canadian authorities have announced that starting this coming June, having a first-degree relative in Canada and knowledge of French will each award 15 points in the Express Entry scoring system.
Adding these points can assist anyone with a first-degree relative (siblings/parents/grandparents/uncles/nephews) and can contribute to raising their personal score.
